I really like Maren Caruso‘s food photography, especially her diptychs. I have a postcard of the pancakes and honey image hanging up at my desk as a daily reminder that I need to eat more pancakes.

Developing film is a pretty foreign concept to most people these days. I found this Pako photo/negative envelope that came from a developer in Minneapolis in the 1960′s and thought I’d share it. I love the little illustration and the way that the tape adds an interesting element to the composition of this image. If you want to see other developing envelopes, check out this Photo Developing Envelopes flickr group.

These Periodic Table cards by Pink Loves Brown are a great idea.

Canadian illustrator Raymond Biesinger has cooked up some fantastic work. His linear style is graphic, highly conceptual and just plain cool. Check out his portfolio to see more.

These wooden sunglasses from Portland, Oregon based Shwood are at the top of my wish list. They’re available in rosewood, maple and zebrawood.
