Ok, I don’t mean to alarm anyone, but Halloween is quickly approaching so you’d better start thinking about your costume! For those of you looking for something that isn’t in the “full-body gorilla suit” variety, you might be interested in these lacy leather masks from Tom Banwell’s Etsy store. Tom’s masks are really unlike anything I’ve seen before (although I’ll admit I haven’t been mask shopping for a while). And the great thing about these masks is that people can still tell who you are!
This series of paper breakfast foods made by French paper collective Paper Donut is really neat. I’d be curious to know how exactly they created all the items (whether it’s just folded paper or if it’s something like wood wrapped in paper). However they did it, it’s really a fun idea. It reminds me a lot of the paper food created by Swedish graphic designer Daniel Carsten.
How great are these construction equipment eating utensils from The Spoon Sisters? Wish I had a little nephew or niece to get these for!
Göran Kling’s Replica jewelry collection is an homage to luxury wrist watches and is just downright cool.
Best Made Company is selling these fantastic vintage maps that have been hand stamped with the words “Everything Here Is Wonderful”. Seeing things like this makes me think, “Why didn’t I come up with that?”. Here are a few of my favorites.
