Screw Portraits

There are few things I enjoy more than seeing art that’s been created in unconventional ways. Andrew Myers makes amazing portraits that are a cross between sculpture, painting and pointillism. His portraits are composed of thousands of screws that are drilled into plywood at varying depths, which he then finishes off by painting over the heads of each individual screw to create a unique work of art with astounding depth and detail. AOL News did a great interview with Myers if you’re interested in learning more about his process.
