Sometimes studio portrait photography can become a bit stilted. But if you make it virtually impossible for your subjets to calmly smile into the camera then things will definitely get interesting. Jonathan Robert Willis did just that in a project called Wind. He pointed a high-powered focused wind source directly into the faces of his subjects and photographed their misshapen and contorted faces. The end result is a unique collection of portraits that made me laugh out loud. Check out Jonathan’s portfolio to see more of his Wind photos.
