Trevor O’Neil’s Folding Deck Chair

Excuse me for a moment while I pick up my jaw off the floor. There…that’s better. Why the corny jaw-dropping joke (which I suspect is probably a pick-up line too)? Well take a look at this folding deck chair by Chicago-based furniture designer Trevor O’Neil. The chair, which was on display at the 2011 Guerrilla Truck Show, is a prototype that’s being prepared for production in a variety of materials (this one is made of birch). The images below show the deck chair both open and folded up. Check out Trevor’s website to see more of his unique furnishings.

Michael, I’m actually not sure. If you’re interested in purchasing his work I’d recommend contacting Trevor. But I’ll see if I can find out too.

I checked with Trevor and he confirmed that he’s self-represented at this time. Anyone that’s interested in purchasing one of his pieces should contact him directly: http://www.trevoroneil.com/contact
