How many times have you received an email from someone with a link to some viral video that you saw years ago? “OMG you need to watch this video of a sneezing baby panda I found on the YouTubes! LOL!!!!!”

Yeah…I’ve seen it. 100 times. Two years ago.

But how can you really tell if a link you’re about to send to all your friends is old news to everyone on the planet except you? With the help of a website called Is It Old?, that’s how.

Plug in the link you’re about to send and you’ll be told whether or not the link is old or not.

So how does The Sneezing Baby Panda fair? You’re quickly told:

“ABORT. I don’t even know if computers can run this anymore. It has been tweeted 10,259 times already, and the first time was 802 days ago.”

A little harsh, but at least you won’t make a fool of yourself by letting the world know that the rock you live under doesn’t have an internet connection.

There are very few movies that Bill Murray has starred in that I have not liked. Seriously, I love that guy. DKNG Studios (Dan Kuhlken and Nathan Goldman), created this awesome poster as an homage to the illustrious career of this Hollywood great in which each one of Murray’s movies is depicted in icon form.

The image below obviously does not do this poster justice, so I recommend checking out the full size image or looking at the post on DKNG’s blog, which shows more detailed images.

This past Friday I took a stroll through the Occupy Wall Street protest in Zuccotti Park during my lunch break, as I often do (my office is across the street from Zuccotti). Everyday I stumble across something new down there. On Friday, however, I was really excited to find these almost-life-size sculptures of people made entirely out of clear packing tape.

Cork boards are probably one of the most useful things ever invented. They allow you to organize all important notes and reminders, but more importantly they’re a place to showcase embarrassing photos of your friends so that anyone who comes into your house will think you’re the “normal one” (little do they know…).

Well this laser cut cork board in the shape of Manhattan, created by Aminimal Studio, is refreshing upgrade from the plain old, square cork boards that most of us have. Ok, technically it doesn’t show all of the island of Manhattan (sorry to everyone living between Harlem and Inwood), but it’s still pretty cool.

From time to time, we could all use a gentle reminder to floss (and not just the week before a visit to the dentist…). Well there’s a way to offer that reminder without sounding too patronizing: with a stylish letterpress calling card made by Bremelo Press!

A set of 10 cards can be purchased for $12.50.

I’m really intrigued by this set of 230 vintage medicine bottle labels that I came across on Etsy last night. I have a real affinity for ephemera and this set is no exception.
