Every Christmas I come across a line of holiday cards that I really wish I would have discovered before December 25. This year it was these cool cards by Norwegian design studio Darling Clementine. To all my friends and family…you might be getting these cards from me next year. Try to act surprised…
I think it’s safe to say that sledding is no longer just for kids. Or at least that’s what one would assume when a company like Porsche starts making sleds. If James Bond went sledding this would clearly be his vehicle of choice.
As some of you may know, I am a sucker for cool, minimalist wallets. Much to my delight, New York-based Leffot has taken minimalist to a new level. Their wallet, called The Fold, is a single piece of T-shaped leather that folds up around your money. No zippers, slots, stitching, or fold-out photo sleeves on this baby. Just a piece of good old fashioned leather to hold your dough.
I can’t quite decide if this goldfish drain plug is hilarious or a painful reminder of finding Goldie floating upside down in her tank and having to flush her down the toilet. Whatever the case may be, it’s a clever idea.

A while back I wrote a post about bracelets made from actual camera lenses and while these new bracelets aren’t quite as authentic they’re just as cool! The two bracelets available from the Photojojo store are made of silicone and look like the focusing ring on a camera lens. I love it!
I’m a big fan of minimalist wallets, so naturally I was excited to see this slick front pocket wallet by AUTUM. The Zietgeist wallet is slim, made of leather, has a single pocket to ensure you only carry the essentials (you don’t want to end up like George Costanza after all) and it zips shut to hold everything in place. What more could you ask for? Oh yeah, that’s right…it would be nice if it arrived pre-filled with cash I suppose, but we all have to make certain concessions for style.
There are few things in life I enjoy more than a good burger. So, give me a burger that’s filled with loot and I’ll be extra happy (although I might be a little disappointed that I can’t eat, but that’s beside the point). This burger-shaped wallet available at Lazy Oaf made my day. Imagine this: You’re on a first date, when the check comes at the end of the meal you say, “Oh, no, it’s my treat,” and you pull out a hamburger wallet. You’ve just got yourself a second date. No doubt in my mind. All thanks to the burger wallet.
Mom always said, “Don’t play with your food,” but she never said anything about the silverware. This simple knife, fork and spoon set from the Cologne, Germany-based Konstantin Slawinski will surely add a little creative entertainment to the supper table. The colorful cutlery can be assembled into a little tripod shaped table sculpture. Each piece has a notch to attach itself to the other two and create a tripod. It’s not as hard as solving a Rubix cube, but it requires just the right amount of mental dexterity to entertain yourself after a big meal.
