I’m surprised that I haven’t seen something like this before. What a great idea. Growing jewelry by HAF features live plants that are set in sterling silver. Just make sure you water them…dead plant jewelry doesn’t quite have the same appeal.

Don’t get me wrong, I love living in New York. But after I found out about Small Victories Shop in Portland, Oregon I think I need to make a trip out West. One of the artists selling work at Small Victories is Isaac Watson, who makes bracelets out of old camera lenses. Very cool. Check out Small Victories Shop to see more!
(Thanks to Ian L. for sending me this link!)

Here’s a great scarf for any typophile out there. This laser cut microfiber suede scarf from Little Factory is available in both black and white. I would bet that it isn’t very warm, but you need to make sacrifices for style.

Whether you consider this Chanel paper bag a poignant commentary on the current state of fashion or just a silly thing that some hipster did, you have to admit that this is a good idea.

Jewelry designer Margaux Lange still plays with Barbies. However, “playing” for her is making jewelry and all her jewelry is made out of parts of Barbie dolls. Here are two cool necklaces she made.

These wooden sunglasses from Portland, Oregon based Shwood are at the top of my wish list. They’re available in rosewood, maple and zebrawood.

I love seeing artists and designers that use recycled materials. Jewelry designer effemera made this bracelet out of corrugated cardboard.

Here’s an interesting way to design an online clothing store. Although, I will admit, after being at this site for a while I got a little creeped out by the Robert Pattinson-esque model that was staring back at me. Check out Patrik Ervell.
