Here’s a fun site by Román Cortés. The page starts out as the lyrics to “Never Gonna Give You Up” and then morphs into a dancing guy. The slider on the right adjusts the degree to which the image is “dancing guy” and how much is just straight lyrics. Very cool.

Graphic designer Mico Toledo created these cool typographic interpretations of popular song lyrics for one of his projects called Music Philosophy. A fitting name if you ask me. These are also available as shirts at his store. Here are a few that caught my eye.

Here’s a neat idea from Olly Moss. I may have to make a trip to a used bookstore so I can do this too!

Here’s a great scarf for any typophile out there. This laser cut microfiber suede scarf from Little Factory is available in both black and white. I would bet that it isn’t very warm, but you need to make sacrifices for style.

A good quote. (Typography by Martin Refsal)

Here’s some great typography from UK-based design studio ilovedust. via Grain Edit.

An interesting subset of the Outsider Art genre is Outsider Typography (aka Folk Typography). As you may guess, it’s typography that has been created by people that aren’t designers. The resulting type can be wildly successful or it can be physically painful to look it. Either way, outsider typography can be a valuable source of inspiration for a designer (if nothing else, it can show you what you shouldn’t be doing). Here are a few interesting examples from the Folk Typography group on flickr.
